Abstract Submission

Deadline for Absctract Submission


- The dealine for abstract submission is February 16th 2020

 

General submission guidelines


- Each author may submit a maximum of 2 abstracts as first author, regardless of the presentation form.
- First authors must be registered to present their work at the conference.
- Abstracts can be submitted in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and presentations should be in the same language as the submitted abstracts.
- Accepted presentation forms are: Paper Presentation, Paper Symposium, Roundtable, Poster Presentation, and Poster Symposium Workshop. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to change the final allocation and presentation form.
- Paper presentations, Paper Symposiums and Roundtables are scheduled for 90 minute slots, 15 minutes for each presentation.
- Poster sessions are scheduled during morning and afternoon coffee-breaks, 30 minutes per session.
- Accepted abstracts will be published online.

 

Paper and Poster Presentations


Abstracts should be organized as follow:

- Identify the Topic Category from the list.
- Abstracts should be between 200 and 300 words.
- Please do not include references, tables or figures in the abstract.
- The title of the abstract should be in capital letters and no longer than 15 words.
- Authors’ names (first and last name) and institutional affiliation should follow the title. Do not include academic degrees. First authors should also provide their email.
- The abstract should be organized in the following sections: Introduction, Aims, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
- Include three to five keywords.
- Indicate if you had any funding source for this study.

 

Paper and Poster Symposiums


Submissions should be organized as follow:

- Identify the Topic Category from the list
- All abstracts should be included in one submission. Please do not include references, tables or figures.
- Symposiums should have between three and five presentations.
- The chair of the symposium is expected to submit all the abstracts in one document. This document should be organized as follow:
- Title of the Symposium in capital letters and no longer than 15 words, followed by name of the chair and institutional affiliation. Do not include academic degree. The chair should also provide their email.
- Rationale for the symposium in a maximum of 300 words, explaining the general theme of the symposium, its aim, and an overview of the different presentations.
- Include three to five keywords.
- Abstracts for each presentation should follow the format of Paper and Poster Presentations.
- The title of the abstract should be in bold and capital letters and no longer than 15 words.
- Indicate if you had any funding source for this study

 

Roundtables


Submissions should be organized as follow:

- Identify the Topic Category from the list
- The chair of the roundtable is responsible to recruit the participants before the conference or during the conference.
- The chair of the roundtable should provide the following information:
- Title of the roundtable in capital letters and no longer than 15 words, followed by name of the chair and institutional affiliation. The chair should also provide their email.
- Rationale for the roundtable in a maximum of 300 words, explaining the theme of the roundtable and the importance of the topic to be discussed. Please do not include references, table or figures.
- Include three to five keywords.
- Indicate if you had any funding source for this study.
